I was asked as a freelance Design Director to lead the Droga5 design team for the Google Pixel launch campaign. Together as a team, we created the graphic profile for the teaser, launch and ad campaign for Googles first ever mobile phone, the Pixel.

We based our insights on research into Googles market position as the inclusive tech giant whose goal is to make the world simpler for everyone. We looked to Googles search engine as a platform for lifes high and low questions – from "Where is the nearest supermarket?" to "How can I make time travel a reality?". We explored how we could translate those types of interactions between Google and the users into some thing tangible and simple.

The result was a strong, and very simple, graphic to communicate the no nonsense minimalist approach that Google has in our everyday life. The design system was used for the global launch both on OOH, 3d installations and as digital teasers.
